Course Description:
Mentorship is an elective course for students who plan tot pursue a baccalaureate degree and employment in a professional career. The course is designed to provide students with an in-depth orientation to a career and exposure to the supervisory, management, and decision-making skills needed for the profession. Placements are possible in a variety of settings: executive level positions in business, industry, government, and service industries.
Students are given a class period during the school day, typically at the end of the day, to report to their placement sights for on the job shadowing.
